I’'m a London-based, internationally published photographer - and I also happen to be an architect and creative management consultant by background. The former means I'm especially attuned to geometry, graphic composition, light, and space in the way I take pictures. The latter means I'm inherently client-focused: I want to understand what you need from your photographs before I pick up a camera.

My passion for photography goes back to my school days. Then street photography was my main area of focus, inspired by the legendary Henri Cartier-Bresson. My subsequent passion for portrait and fashion photography has been shaped by the likes of Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, David Bailey, Peter Lindbergh, Jane Bown and Viviane Sassen - photographers who understood that a great portrait is both about vision and technique.

I trained as an architect at the Architectural Association in London and practised for over a decade, while simultaneously completing a part-time MBA at London Business School - each feeding the other. That combination led naturally to a parallel career as a creative management consultant, where I have strategically advised architects, designers and many other organisations. All of it informs how I shoot.

Whenever I'm behind a camera, I'm looking for the image that will make the viewer look twice - and a photograph that will pass the test of time. From hundreds of shoots, and completing the Mastered Fashion Photography Programme, I've also learned how to guide and design a session while simultaneously maintaining a clear creative vision and an open mind, building on each subject's unique characteristics to deliver images that ideally wow and endure.

What clients consistently tell me - and you can read their words on the testimonials page - is that the shoot itself is as enjoyable as the results. That matters to me. A relaxed, collaborative session usually produces better photographs than a tense or rushed one. So whether we're shooting in my Belsize Park studio, at your home or office, or on location across London, I work to make sure you feel comfortable and involved from the moment we start talking about what you need.

I'm based in Belsize Park, NW3 - convenient for Hampstead, Swiss Cottage, Primrose Hill, St John's Wood and Camden - and I work with portrait clients across North London, the City and beyond.
